Misery live on the Today Show was wonderful. These guys give so much to their live performances. That's one of the things we like so much about them. Plug your ears into Misery , the single, for a totally awesome listen. As for the rest ~ the video totally sucks, is poorly done (almost amateurish with the cuts to and from this chick who's beating up on Adam with an attempt at looking sexy. Reminds me of Christy Brinkley in the movie 'Vacation', nice to look at, but can't act for shit.) At least the video for WUC had SOME kind of tie in with the song. This one makes absolutely no sense. What a waste of money. Remember when they 'previewed' the video for one of the old songs (having a brain fart with the title right now, of course - the one where Adam was doing the 'pee-pee dance) and we all disliked it and they pulled it and reshot it? Well, they should've done that with this one. This is not a BAND video by any stretch of the imagination. Album cover? Ha! All I can say is, you've got to be kidding me. I keep hoping for two things: (1) I will wake up on September 21 and see that it was all a bad dream; and (2) what's inside the package is a WHOLE hell of a lot better than what's promised by the cover... Thank God they know how to make good music...I hope. I'm now scared that I will be disappointed with the rest of the album. :(
