Re: Re: Adam Levinetomrw91 wrote: Just look for the Stacy Adams Madison boot. They come in different colors(brown, blue, gray, black) and different little designs on them. You do know that you will have to wear the down for them to really look "cool". They look better when they are old and beat up than when they are brand new.

My husband retired from the U.S. Army in 2004 and he never had any boots with wooden soles. Military Surplus stores are not run by the military, they carry the surplus, replica's and some sell used items. A lot of hunters buy their clothing there. Here are two websites I found: http://www.colemans.com/index.php http://www.military-quotes.com/military-surplus.htm Are you from Great Britain, if so I do not know if you can order from these sites. But do not give up, just use your computer for resources. Carl had some great ideas. Hope you find the right boots.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Adam Levinetomrw91 wrote:cjmtlc123 wrote:Soffee1 wrote: No, you won't find them at the military. You can just google Mens Lace Up Dress Boot. Kenneth Cole(reasonably priced and great equivalent to stacy adams) has several kinds. Ben Sherman has several kinds Bostonian Jean Paul Gaultier(expensive) Salvatore Ferragamo(expensive but I love his shoes) Stacy Adams Madison Boot make the best lace boot(probably the ones that Adam has on) Marc Jacobs(expensive) has several kinds Rockport even makes some Believe it or not, Dr. Martens have their lace boots like his as well. Hugo Boss is another good one. LOL @ me giving fashion tips. I didn't realize I knew as much as I do. You can't go wrong with the Stacy Adams Madison Boot ![]() John Varvatos makes a great one, too. Mark Nason is another good one. I'm not sure if you're in the United States or overseas but you can find them easily.

I have a few pairs of military boots but theyre from a shop here in Liverpool called All Saints, and the material is pretty flimsy and those ones he has just look amazing! haah.

Re: Adam Levinetomrw91 wrote: Like everyone has said, he loves Yves Saint Laurent when he dresses up(suits, slacks, vests, etc). The t-shirts, jeans, boots, etc can be found anywhere in California. His look when he's not dressed up is pretty much the norm in any urban city and some rural ones. You just have to know how to put the look together. Get you some vintage t-shirts, old ratty battered jeans, doc marten type boots, mens ankle boots, motorcycle boots, vests, leather jackets, white t-shirts, etc. It's not really his look. The look combines the whole 50s look, James Dean's look, 80s and 90s rocker fashions with a modern twist. That's Adam's style. That's pretty much any member of these "rock" groups' style. LOL!!! Google motorcycle boots and then go to images; you will see so many pics of different motorcycle boots. You can find those things and motorcycle shops, journeys, and pretty much anywhere mens shoes are sold. If you want the black lace up boots that he wears, those are just regular military boots or military styled boots. We call them jungle boots. You have to wear them a long time and let them get worn and scuffed. It gives you that classic vintage 50s look and you can update it to look 80s or 90s as well as look grunge. Depending on what you wear, you can even look fly in 2009 as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See, all he's wearing is a black waist length leather jacket, black cotton blend(cotton and lycra or spandex mix), black jeans, and black military styled boots. You can get these clothes anywhere. His clothes are probably a mix of expensive items mixed with inexpensive items. By the by, I love him scruffy. I seriously want to f@#* his brains out in these pics. I don't even be on him like that. LMAO!!!
