Just look for the Stacy Adams Madison boot. They come in different colors(brown, blue, gray, black) and different little designs on them. You do know that you will have to wear the down for them to really look "cool". They look better when they are old and beat up than when they are brand new.

I do not know what kind of boots you are talking about. My husband retired from the U.S. Army in 2004 and he never had any boots with wooden soles. Military Surplus stores are not run by the military, they carry the surplus, replica's and some sell used items. A lot of hunters buy their clothing there. Here are two websites I found:

No, you won't find them at the military. You can just google Mens Lace Up Dress Boot.
