Not only do they have the same initials, but their last names are pronounced the same and are both big top singers.

Now here is the question. Who would win in a fight? (Actually, being a fan of the show Celebrity Deathmatch, I wouldn't mind seeing this fight take place.)

Personally I like Adam better. Not only is he a better singer, but Avril is such a witch to her fans. I had friends meet her one time and they say she was so mean to them.

lol the only time i listened to avril lavigne when my friend constantly sang skater boy in 5th grade. shes cool and i think she'd win cuz adam would never fight a girl, hes too nice to ive heard haha. though...i like adam much more shh i never said anything

I've got the ultimate solution to this matter--have the two of them duel it out in a singing contest to see who can hit the higher note...and guess what? Our relentless hero, Adam Levine, would STILL WIN! Even though both Adam and Avril have multi-octave vocal ranges, having listened attentively to their voices, I know Adam can produce higher notes than Avril--and he's the guy! Go figure!

This has nothing to do with the fight, but I was listening to a radio station when they were interviewing Maroon 5, and someone rang up and asked if Adam was related to Avril, because they "have the same last name." Even though it's spelt differently :| Oh yeah, and she also called James Jason. xD

I'd say Adam would win but then again, my opinion's very much biased.
Adam is by far the better musician. Avril has changed... a lot. I really don't like her music any more.

Adam also happens to be more muscly. and he's definitely infinitely more gorgeous but perhaps I would think differently if I were male.
