You're right, April, about other boards being terrible. Most of them just scare me so I stay away. I'm on this one, WUC, and a Sara B board. There is ZERO drama on hers, thank goodness.

I just totally flew off the handle with this. Many of you know me and know it takes a lot to piss me off, but for some reason this did it. Then my husband saw me furiously typing at the computer and asked me what was wrong. When I tried explaining that I was angry because a review of a show was taken down from a messageboard, he started to laugh. That's when I realized I was being ridiculous.

For the record, he also said "how can you review a show you couldn't hear?" So that pretty much explains the overall sentiment of my review.

I asked and SIN didn't take it down. I bet SIN aren't the only people who have access to delete things on here.

Heather, please let me reiterate that this is not about you. I apologize if I have said anything that you feel is directed at you.

You're right, I don't know you or your friends. But you guys don't know us either. We both have preconceived ideas about eachother's friends and that seems like it won't change. Perhaps that's childish on both sides, but that's the way it is. As long as we don't resort to personal attacks on this board then that's that best we can do. What we say elsewhere, and you know both sides do it, is to be kept over there. We have the right to express our opinions in other forums.

If SIN is reading this and wants to explain privately why it was taken down, please e-mail me at lawmom04@gmail.com. Please don't use the one I use to sign in to the board as it's no longer valid.

If there is a good reason, I swear I will come on and apologize. I always admit when I'm wrong. But until then, I have to assume it was taken down out of spite.

BTW, James agreed with me that his friend was an asshole. He wrote to me and offered to personally refund my money for the show (which I turned down). Like I said, it was a good show and in my mind was worth the money.

I'm not pissed that my review was taken down. I'm not that petty. It's a stupid review on a stupid messageboard. I have more important things to deal with in life. I just want an explanation as to why. It seems to be a personal attack for no reason.

And Mama's right, as grateful as we all are that you got the tape, it doesn't make sense that Jen gets reprimanded for posting live recordings and you don't.

As for having their number, I have actually never called SIN. I know others call to complain about posts, but I have never done so. I'm all about airing reasons behind actions publicly. If you do something, stand by it.

I really don't mean to start drama. I swear. I feel SIN started it by taking down the review for absolutely no reason. I got many e-mails after that wondering why I took it down, when I had no idea it was even gone. I got pissed, more pissed than I have ever been on this board since probably 2 years ago in one little TRT thread.

If my anger was misplaced, I apologize. Sincerely. But based on all the feedback I've gotten, a huge majority of the people who post on this board agree with me and have left the board because of SIN's picking and choosing of what stays and what goes without any explanation.

You don't know us at all. I actually agree with you on your review. I thought the sound sucked especially during the prince cover and I think what James' friend did was uncalled for.

Don't believe me? Give her a call, I am sure you have their number.

And if I had a good friend who worked for SIN my review would not have been taken down. But clearly there's a double standard.

Oh well. $35 more in my pocket next year.

Um.... All I did was say that the sound was bad, so unless there's a representative from The Palms on this board that got offended, then there was no reason to get rid of my review. It was a good show, a lot of fun. That was the gist of my review. This deletion deserves an explanation. Not agreeing with what's written, or having a personal issue with the person who wrote it (perhaps), is no reason to get rid of it. There was absolutely NOTHING offensive in it. Notice how Meg's is still there and she had the same opinion as I did. Interesting.

This deletion stuff usually doesn't bother me and I just laugh it off, but getting rid of a review of a show that only a few of us got to go to, a GOOD review, makes no sense.

If you're going to do this kind of thing then please give your reasons and stand by them. I spent a lot of time on that review, the least you can do is explain why it was taken down.

You know me and my honesty! Going to a lot of shows for the same album has its downsides, but the upside is that you can tell which ones are phoned in and which ones aren't. This one was not phoned in. They really were having fun and it was good to have some surprises. I just wish the sound had been better. I certainly don't blame that on them. I can only assume the Pearl thought people would be a lot rowdier so they turned it to 11, so to speak. But just like the last time, people were sitting. P.S. WTF is up? Where did Jill's initial review go??? Watch out, Big Brother is watching. Guess it went the same way as my original Holiday Desires for the Boys...Too bad the PTB expect everything here to be all hunky dory instead of honest and from the heart. And dammit, we LOVE these guys, or we wouldn't be here, but tough love counts, too.

hey ladies...sorry its taken me so long to post. had to work the day after and then the recovery started!

the show was great!! yes, it was a tad bit too loud and you couldnt really hear adam from where we were standing. the whole james friend shoving his way to the front with some chick following him event was just uncalled for. james kept saying "its cool its cool" and laughing his ass off but im pretty sure he was the only one laughing. james did throw a bunch of guitar picks our way afterwords but i dont think it makes up for two split champagnes, a twisted ankle and being robbed a few minutes of the show. sorry.

most of my pics didnt come out. i didnt get to use my new camera for several reasons so im stuck with sub-par pics. i will put the decent ones up soon.

it was the first show for my hubby as well. he recognized some of the songs but was very bothered but the "screaming girls" and the chick next to him constantly putting her camera in front of his face trying to take some pics of the guys. he said at one point he just wanted to take the camera and take the pics for her. the jury is out on if hes gonna go to another show with me. but now that i live in cali im sure i can meet some of yall at the shows!!

the set list was nothing impressing. i was really hoping to hear last chance but o well. jason was great and him trying to over take the mic from adam was hilarious!! i really enjoyed seeing/hearing adam play drums in the beginning!! the new guy was nice to watch (cutie!!) and jesse did get on the guitar quite a bit but again i couldnt really hear anything other than james!

i cant really add any more then what jill already said. it was so great meeting her and larry!! **and thanks for larry getting dan hooked on black jack!! my speeding ticket is now paid for and then some!!!** after reading jlls posts for years i felt like i was meeting a celebrity! plus seeing (not speaking to) some of the other girls was exciting also! mama-im still hoping to meet you someday as well!!! :)

now ill go work on the pics and video uploads!
